Kunal Purandare Kunal Purandare started his journalistic career with the Daily News and Analysis (DNA) newspaper in Mumbai in 2005 at the age of 22. After being associated with the paper for three years since its launch, he moved to MiD DAY, Mumbai's largest-selling tabloid, as Chief Sub-Editor. Purandare was responsible for planning and bringing out various sections in both newspapers. At present, he is Assistant News Editor with DNA. Purandare studied at St. Xavier's High School in Fort against which Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar shared the world record 664-run partnership. He completed his graduation from KC College in Churchgate before acquiring a Masters degree in Commerce from the Mumbai University. He studied journalism at the Xavier Institute of Communications and also has a Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations.
