Gautam Das GAUTAM DAS was in the Indian Army from 1968 to 1991. He was an infantry officer in the 11th Gorkha Rifles, and has served along the Sino-Indian (Indo-Tibet) border. has a Masters' degree in Defence Studies from Madras University. He is an Adjunct Fellow of the Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi, and a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies, Delhi Cantt.
