Lt. Col M K Gupta Ray The author, graduated from Calcutta University was b. 1946 and joined Army, in 1969, in Sikh Regiment. He took part in the War of Bangladesh in 1971. He had a long experience of regimental duty as well as staff appointment at various levels.
