Amulya Ratna Nanda Amulya Ratna Nanda was born in Tigiria village in Odisha State (India),did his graduate and postgraduate studies in History, Economics, Political Science and Population in Ravenshaw College,Cuttack,Allahabad University and Cardiff (U.K.) and worked as a member of Indian Administrative Service from 1965 to 2002, both in the Government of Odisha and the Central Government of India. His inner search for peace and spirituality drew him to Shirdi Sai Baba since the 1990s, and he has been writing on Sai Baba's life, teachings and philosophy as well as themes of spiritualism for the last fifteen years. He writes regularly in the journal, Heritage of Shirdi Sai.
