The Awakening
This latest anthology of poems written over the last three months is very different from the previous collections. The author has moved beyond his distress and pain and into the world beyond mortal life. This collection reflects his thoughts of the mystery of our existence. The descriptions of divinity go beyond the constraints of religion and focus instead on the personal connection between the earthly and the divine. Many of the poems will show the influence of the famous dervish Rumi.
