The Hindu Manifesto for India’s Democracy
The Hindu Manifesto for India’s Democracy
The author argues that today, as never before, Hinduism is under an insidious multi-dimensional siege; and the manifestation of this can be seen by those alerted to it. The author suggests that the siege against Hinduism is visible in five dimensions: (1) The international denigration of Hindu icons; (2) Psychological warping of minds by a fraudulent British colonial version of our history; (3) The Islamic terrorist-driven religious cleansing of Hindus in Kashmir and at other places; (4) The money-induced conversion of Hindus to Christianity in various parts of the country; and (5) Cultural assimilation through globalization of tastes, dress and interpersonal morality determined by the mores in the Anglo-Saxon White Christian world (“the West”). The author argues that Hindus must collectively acquire a new mindset, to meet this growing challenge. If Hindus and other sympathetic Indians do not confront this culture threatening menace, India known as Hindustan runs the risk of perishing as did the ancient civilizations of the Greeks, Egyptians, Zoroastrian Persians, Babylonians and several others.
