Shri Krishna Mohan Dixit Ishwar Ka Vigyan is the debut work of Shri Krishna Mohan Dixit, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), 1989 batch, currently serving as the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for the West Bengal & Sikkim region. Born into a traditional North Indian Brahmin family, Shri Dixit received spiritual guidance from his guru, the late Shri Narpat Mishra, who introduced him to Sanskrit and Hindu scriptures at a young age. His academic journey led him to IIT Kanpur, where he completed his M.Tech before qualifying for the Civil Services Examination. He later pursued a Master’s in International Public Policy (MIPP) from Johns Hopkins University, Washington, D.C., and has been associated with Chinmaya Mission, Delhi, since 2009. Shri Dixit’s literary and philosophical interests were evident from the 1990s when his Hindi and English poetry gained recognition. His writings, particularly The Quest for Happiness, reflect his deep inquiry into knowledge, experience, and self-realization. His passion for astrophysics and contemplation of the universe further shape his intellectual pursuits. In Ishwar Ka Vigyan, Shri Dixit attempts to unify spiritual seekers and rationalists, presenting a thought-provoking exploration of existence.
